About Dr. Glock
Jacob L. Glock, M.D. was fellowship trained in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University Of Vermont College Of Medicine in Burlington. He received his undergraduate and medical degree at the University of Florida — Gainesville and St. Georges University School of Medicine, respectively. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center and a residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Orlando Regional Medical Center/Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Women. Dr. Glock is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and residency trained in Internal Medicine.
He offers comprehensive women’s health care. In addition to providing Assisted Reproductive Technology services and male and female infertility evaluation and treatment, he also offers primary care to his patients. His work has been presented both nationally and internationally and he has been published in more than a two-dozen peer review medical journals, abstracts, and book chapters. He was a clinical instructor at the University of Vermont College of Medicine, and a reviewer for the journal Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
He has 20 years private practice experience in Fort Myers, Naples, and Port Charlotte where he serves as the Medical Director for Southwest Florida Fertility Center. Additionally, he has an office on Fort Myers Beach and in Labelle, Florida. Born to missionary parents, he was raised in the Far East and ultimately settled in his Mother’s home state of Florida. His interest in medicine began as a child after being exposed to both mission and military hospitals overseas.
Dr. Glock and his staff are committed to providing individualized care. He performs all ultrasounds, IUI’s, consultations, follow-up visits, and outpatient and inpatient surgeries. He has been successful in achieving pregnancy using IVF in women up to age 46 using their own eggs and up to age 55 using donor eggs. He also has been successful with both Traditional Surrogacy and Gestational Carrier and offers cryopreservation of oocytes for cancer patients, Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) to eliminate the risk of Down syndrome and gender selection for family balancing.
